Chris Brown just got a huge pat on the back from the judge in his felony abuse case … including a “great job” for following the terms of his probation so well.

During the brief hearing, the judge reviewed the progress report document turned in by Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos … and she was very pleased with what she saw.

The judge said Brown has been attending all of his court-ordered domestic violence counseling sessions and has been “working consistently” on completing his community labor.

As previously reported, Brown pled guilty to felony assault last year for beating up Rihanna.

His next progress report is November 18.

Chris Brown and Drake once had a beef over their back-to-back dating of Rihanna last year, but they’ve clearly put their differences in the past. A source tells us the duo ripped up SoHo hot spot Greenhouse together on Tuesday night with a little help from their friends. After Lil Jon and T.I. did an impromptu back-and-forth at the nightclub, Brown surprised the Corona-cheered crowd with a five-song set and repeated shoutouts to “my man, Drake” when the deejay played Drake’s tunes for the throng.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, Ne-Yo stated that although the incident was “terrible,” people should let the pop singer move forward with his career.

“Chris Brown is a talented guy,” Ne-Yo said. “He is an incredible performer and no one can take that away from him. I think that for some reason it is taking the world too long to forgive this guy”

Ne-Yo also revealed that he grew up in a home where domestic violence occurred daily and still harbors no resentment toward the singer.

“I know what that world is,” Ne-Yo said. “I grew up in a house where my mom was abused all the time. I know how terrible it is, but I also know that forgiveness is divine and we really need to forgive him and move on.”

According to USMagazine.com reports:

Before he took the stage to belt out “Man in the Mirror,” a backstage source tells Us one of Brown’s bodyguards gave the singer, 21, tear-inducing eye drops.

Brown’s rep denies it, telling Us that Brown simply “was moved by the opportunity to pay tribute to his idol.” But the witness says Brown definitely used drops.

Says the source, “He rubbed it in and he started crying.”

“I consider Chris a friend. He’s been through a lot in the past couple years. I never told him to go on stage and cry. We spoke recently, and I told him as a friend that people hadn’t really seen him be vulnerable about his situation last year [with Rihanna]. I thought he was holding back and needed to let that emotion out. Him crying at the BET Awards was real, I could feel it.” said Lloyd.

He went on to say, “I think he cried about a number of things. About the fact that he thought people would hate him forever because of one mistake. Feeling that love on stage was probably overwhelming. Plus MJ being gone and him performing “Man in the Mirror”, that song is powerful, especially for his situation. It pushed him over the edge.”

Responding to the many blogs and fans that took Lloyd’s comments as a negative statement against Chris Brown, Lloyd offered this response, “To say that he was faking or that I’m hating on him, that’s some bull shit. Last week Essence.com asked me what artist most embodied MJ. I told them it was Chris. I never saw MJ perform live, but he [Chris Brown] is the closest thing I’ve witnessed. Chris is back, and I’m just as excited as his fans are. It’s just frustrating that people want to make everything negative.”

Chris Brown’s “comeback” performance at Sunday’s BET Awards shocked fans and naysayers as the R&B singer broke down into tears while paying tribute to Michael Jackson.

While some were impressed and welcomed the singer back into their good graces, others remained more critical and questioned his true intentions.

Adding more fuel to that fire is Lloyd, who’s gone on record to say that he encouraged Chris Brown to cry onstage, an order Brown obviously took to heart.

In an interview with Rap-Up, Lloyd says he told the controversial singer that he had “to really show his heart out to the world” and cry.

“He’s back with a vengeance….I think that they’re gonna find a place in their heart for him again….I told him man, you gotta get up there. You gotta CRY, you gotta really show your heart to the world.”

“He’s a human being like all others, we all make mistakes. What he did was wrong. I love Rihanna… I’m one of his biggest fans… We can’t condemn him because of what happened. We hope he learns from this,” Jackson told TV news show Extra.

“He (Brown) deserves to perform because it’s healing for him. How can he learn from his mistakes if you don’t give him the chance? He needs that. I support him a thousand per cent; I’m not supporting what he did because it was wrong, but, at the same time, we have to give him a chance,” he added.

Jackson added that he was greatly moved by Brown’s tribute to MJ, “It was very emotional for me… It was just a spectacular moment.”

Rihanna graces the cover of Elle, which hits newstands on June 15th. After being pictured numerous times with her boy toy and denying their status, Rihanna finally admits that she has a boyfriend. She also speaks on black women being represented in fashion and what went on the night that Chris Brown felt the need to use her face as a punching bag.

Flip the Lid for a Peek

Relationship Status: “I have a boyfriend. I’m so happy. I feel really comfortable, and it’s so easy. I have such a chaotic life, but at the end of the day, that is just my peace. It keeps me sane, really, talking to him and talking to my family.”

Fashion: “It’s clear there are definitely fewer black women in the high-fashion industry. One of the things I respected most about Gucci was that they did a print campaign with me. I’m a black girl on a fashion spread for Gucci—that was a big deal. I respect designers who aren’t afraid to go outside the box. I went to a Jean Paul Gaultier show, and I saw girls who are thicker than me, beautiful and voluptuous and different ethnicities. That made me so excited. I thought, Okay, I can work that, for sure.”

What Happened: “A year ago, I was very confused. Because he was my best friend. All of a sudden, one night changed our whole lives—not only our friendship, but our lives. I wanted to wake up one day and just not have that pain anymore. I wanted to be with him again or get over him—it was either-or. I just didn’t want to feel the pain, the confusion.”

Chris Brown has been DENIED!!! The singer could not get a visa to enter the United Kingdom this week, forcing him to cancel three show dates that were scheduled to start tomorrow. Breezy’s visa was denied due to last year’s criminal conviction following his assault on Rihanna. More details when you

While Breezy’s community service efforts may have satisfied the California judge who sentenced him for the grizzly beatdown on Rihanna — British authorities don’t want the little convict on their shores, so they have denied Brown a work visa to enter the country.

According to the BBC, British authorities rejected Brown’s visa because he was guilty of a “serious criminal offense.”

In a statement, the Britain’s Home Office said:

“We reserve the right to refuse entry to the UK to anyone guilty of a serious criminal offence. Public safety is one of our primary concerns…each application to enter the UK is considered on its individual merits.”

Breezy was scheduled to give three shows in England, beginning on Wednesday night in Glasgow. Other dates included London and Manchester as well as a concert in the Irish Republic at Cork.

The tour promoters behind the shows, SJM, confirmed the concerts have been postponed “due to unforseen circumstances.” Concert-goers have been advised to hold onto their tickets since there may be “possible re-arranged dates”.

Chrissy-poo played his usual game of “Tweet Then Delete” with the news, posting the bad news on his Twitter before taking the tweets down.

Aw Poor Thang! Tough titties Chrissy-poo. Better luck next time.

Before the Breezy stans get all up in arms about how unfair this is — keep in mind he’s not the first entertainer to be rejected. Snoop was denied a visa to enter the UK in 2007 following an April 2006 incident he had at Heathrow Airport. The decision to reject his visa was overturned in 2008, but the UK Border Agency continues to fight the decision even after an Asylum and Immigration Tribunal ruled in Snoop’s favor this March.

UK immigration doesn’t play, but the US doesn’t either — Amy Winehouse and M.I.A. are among artists who have been denied work visas to enter the U.S. in the past.
